The “11 semi-custom and personalized estate homes designed with Agrarian inspired architecture” on the corner of Santa Fe and Lake in Encinitas are different than most new houses we see these days. The lots are 30,000sf to 53,000sf, and detached guest houses and shops can be added too.
They’ve sold eight so far!
Walked through those a few months ago. Really liked them a lot. Give off a super nice custom vibe with quality finish work and nice floor plans. I think they gave you a pretty fair budget for your finish choices too. Just couldn’t get over the nagging thought that being right off santa fe, it would take a good bit of time for the immediate neighborhood to catch up. Also, that price point in that location with no views was a bit hard to swallow. All in all they seem to be selling a great product and you are less than 5 minutes to Cardiff or Encinitas, assuming you make the light.
I was just over there, too. Love this architecture, I call it Modern Farmhouse. I’m copying the stainless gutters for my house 🙂
being right off santa fe
Two of the three not selling are adjacent to Santa Fe, and the third is on the other end.
The lots are big, the HOA and MR are reasonable, and the detached guest house and detached shops are a novelty.
Agreed, the detached guest house or workshop is a nice feature for sure and the lot sizes are impressive. Have you gone and seen their Carlsbad development?
Nice to see some housing that looks like a talented architect made a major contribution to it, instead of a committee of accountants.
