    That’s Coronado Cays. Many locals consider that Faux Coronado. The Coronado Cays are closer to IB than Orange Ave. I’d take the Gamblers house over Coronado Cays any day.

    Now the ’59 Caddy is a work of art. I don’t think we’ll ever see anything like it again.

    I’d take the ’59 Caddy over the $3.4M Bugatti Chiron I saw at this year’s La Jolla Concours. OK… maybe I’m lying about the Chiron. It’s hard to argue with 1500hp.

    A stock Tesla accelerates like a Chiron. When you drive a Tesla, everybody likes you. Driving a Chiron, even Santa Claus would hear people saying, “what an a**hole” under their breath. Regardless, ugly people will want to take selfies with you every day. Shifting into third gear will always make your wife cry. Police will brag amongst themselves about stopping you. And they will stop you. Worse, if you’re caught going over 100 mph, you will likely go to the city jail, and your car towed to a vaguely secured location by a guy named “Sloopy.” And finally, the above cited quote is what the judge will use as a retort anytime you try to fight a speeding ticket.

    Take the caddy.

    Daytrip… ha ha ha. I sure would not want to piss off Santa Claus.

    I just read that an oil change on the Bugatti is $20,000. That stopped me cold. I’ll take the ’59 Caddy!

This includes taking off the heads, inspecting inside the engine thoroughly making sure there are no irregularities, and checking to make sure that oil is being applied in key areas they way it was engineered to do so.”

    Yeah, this is only for folks with real money!
