Thanks for the tour. Grew up in Kensington and have traveled many times on the old 101 before I-5. Never knew that the was a collection of old Spanish houses in Oceanside. Thank you.

a little off topic but I was driving by the LaCosta Greens SolTerra project today (you did a drive by in a recent vid) and I noticed that today was the grand opening of the models. So I stopped in and had a look, and you are right, the 3 levels on a tiny lot is a bit much. However the prices in the $500’s surprised me, maybe not such a bad deal at around $275/sq ft. There was a decent amount of lookers when I was there at about 1:30.

The yellow spanish on Horne (Anne’s other featured listing) is 2,100sf listed for $695,000, and is pending.

I think you could say everything is the neighborhood is between $400,000 and $700,000.

There has been a history of older couples coming there to retire, to be able to walk to the beach.

We use to live around the corner on Freeman. That house has had some wonderful owners in the past. I use to fly a Marine Corps flag in respect to an earlier owner’s husband who was killed in Iraq.
