Fixers aren’t very attractive at these prices.

As near future buyers, we would really like to buy something turn-key or even new. But, wouldn’t turn away a fixer in the right location and that’s actually priced as a “fixer”. 🙂

How many fixers have you seen lately that were priced accordingly? Me neither.

They want to knock off $10,000 or $20,000 from retail on million-dollar homes. And people have been going for it.

I reviewed one this week that was priced the same as an upgraded model-match. It needed $120,000 to get up to speed, but it was priced the same! Needless to say, the upgraded one was in escrow, and the fixer was flailing.

You first indicator is how long has the agent been in the business, which you can tell by their license number. In this case, it was less time than Kayla.
