We have known Jim & Donna Klinge for over a dozen years, having met them in Carlsbad where our children went to the same school. As long time North County residents, it was a no- brainer for us to have the Klinges be our eyes and ears for San Diego real estate in general and North County in particular. As my military career caused our family to move all over the country and overseas to Asia, Europe and the Pacific, we trusted Jim and Donna to help keep our house in Carlsbad rented with reliable and respectful tenants for over 10 years.
Naturally, when the time came to sell our beloved Carlsbad home to pursue a rural lifestyle in retirement out of California, we could think of no better team to represent us than Jim and Donna. They immediately went to work to update our house built in 2004 to current-day standards and trends — in 2 short months they transformed it into a literal modern-day masterpiece. We trusted their judgement implicitly and followed 100% of their recommended changes. When our house finally came on the market, there was a blizzard of serious interest, we had multiple offers by the third day and it sold in just 5 days after a frenzied bidding war for 20% above our asking price! The investment we made in upgrades recommended by Jim and Donna yielded a 4-fold return, in the process setting a new high water mark for a house sold in our community.
In our view, there are no better real estate professionals in all of San Diego than Jim and Donna Klinge. Buying or selling, you must run and beg Jim and Donna Klinge to represent you! Our family will never forget Jim, Donna, and their whole team at Compass — we are forever grateful to them.
You don’t need to evict the previous owner, but you will need to evict the “tenants”! 🙂
Were those swallows nests?
The modulars always sound hollow when you are walking on the floors. The bathrooms are also give aways. Oh, and they fall apart in a few years like a car does.
I believe that in Arizona people think “stucco” is an upgrade because usually the trailers, sorry modular houses, have cheapy plywood siding. By the way, stucco is technically exterior cement plaster. You can say plaster with a straight face if you think it sounds better. Make that sale JtR!
That’s a little hard to ‘swallow’…….but I wouldn’t say its for the birds. Poor little guys couldn’t afford Capistrano I suppose.
I don’t have a problem with it being a modular building. Unless you are looking, who could tell?
I do have a problem with the horrible floor plan, like the placement and design of the living room.
Hey Jim… thanks for answering my question the other day. Much appreciated!
I’m still at a loss to explain it however. For a society that over-consumed for the better part of two decades, I’m surprised so many people have such large nest eggs they’re willing/able to put into housing.
And about the videos… they are the BEST. Keep up the good work… less JimTV and my life would be much less enjoyable.
Jim,
I’ll preface by saying I know you are extremely busy.
A friend of mine said they now have 5 vacant homes sitting on their street right now. Realty trac only lists 2 pre-foreclosres. I would love to see a Jim T.V. video on what is going on over there. Glencrest drive in SEH 92078.
I’d love to see an SEH video as well.
