San Jose is ahead of us, and San Francisco is about the same. As long as the Bay Area remains an obvious feeder into the better-valued San Diego-Carlsbad market, we’ll be fine.

    Tech moves from SF to SD will slow.

    Companies are pulling back on remote work + expecting employees to start showing their faces in the office again.

    But maybe people will sell in SF and move to SD. Twitter, Bookface (Meta), and Amazon all went through major layoffs.

    Yes, and I think those who move here are coming to retire now – it’s their last move.

    The price disparity is enormously in our favor – move to a cheaper town that’s better!
