Fast forward to 2025, we recently had the privilege of selling 2 homes in Carlsbad, CA and didn't hesitate to reach out to Jim and Donna Klinge of Klinge Realty Group to guide us through the sales. They supplied a list of vendors and job quotes to do the repairs and updates. We originally wanted to sell ‘as is’ and just get it over with. I’m sorry though. If you have the resources to pay $2.5m+ for an upper middle class house in San Diego County I’ve got to think why not retire and clip coupons someplace and then rent a bungalo at Hotel Del for a month every year?

Yes the affluent who don’t own a house here yet are more motivated than those locals who are looking for an upgrade – they can always stay put, or remodel. If you don’t have a house here yet, you are forced to just pay the price……or more.
