Cardiff Post Office Redevelopment

Something needs to take the place of the old Cardiff post office, but the 18,039sf two-story development just approved by the planning commission is expected to face some resistance. Here’s my tour:

    While I usually dislike density the Post Office site works. I love the beginning of your video where you show slant parking that has a buffer to back out into rather than interrupt street traffic.

    I’m sure you also appreciated the developer’s tie-in to the adjacent and massive shopping-center too, as if to say, ‘heck, you approved that monster, and I’m just a little ol’ 18,000 square footer!’

    Half an acre here, half an acre there and before you know it you are Los Angeles “adjacent.”
