My little sister lived just below on Ridgeway until recently. Awesome neighborhoods. A ton of active church and school oriented activities right there. The hilltop Memorial is a great recreational opportunity. Get an electric bicycle and start with no charge and pick up enough battery power on the way down to make it mostly back up the hill after visiting/shopping/dining in La Jolla Village. Start with a charge and you might not ever need to pedal. The roads are bike friendly.
One possible negative. How is the road noise from the intersection far below?
According to the How Loud website, this house scored a 73 “Active” out of a possible 100, higher is better (quieter).

The 5 freeway is way down the hill, thankfully, and a low murmur most days.
