We lost the great guitar player Walter Becker this week. For those who grew up on Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and Pink Floyd, Steely Dan was a gateway band that got us to consider other types of music! Here is Reeling in the Years with Skunk Baxter on co-lead guitar:

I’m not much of a music guy but Steely Dan did some great music.
When I lived in St Louis, there was a Steely Dan tribute band. They played all over the country because Steely Dan music is hard to do in a live format.
I uploaded another version of the same show – hopefully it sticks.
A youtube commenter mentioned that they loved that every person in the band is singing on this – something you don’t see much!
