Both La Jolla and Rancho Santa Fe has eased up on their open-house sign restrictions. But Carlsbad now sends out an employee to pick them up – will agents even know what happened?
Where I live real esate agents showhouse (realtor open house)signs are allowed as long as they go up Sunday morning and come down Sunday night(6am to 6pm) violation leads to a large fine. I do however wish the Johannesburg city council enforced this law against the local affirmative action traditional healers (witch doctors) advertising penis enlargements and good luck charms/love potions.(or maybe the councilors are scared of the bad muti (black magic) that may follow removal?)
Hmmm….that would be a motivator: Leave your sign up and the “endowment enhancement” works in reverse!
Regarding weekend enforcement in Carlsbad – The old watering schedule had Friday as an authorized day for my address. It was changed for the winter season to one day a week with Tuesday being the day. I just dialed it back to one day a week – leaving Friday. I got busted by one of the weekend warriors even though I met the spirit of the ordinance (one day/week for no more than 8 minutes).
So there you go….there’s an ordinance and it’s going to be enforced! Now let’s talk about Prop A! 🙂
Hey….A SFH in Carlsbad that starts with a “6” should bring in plenty of offers.
