Their agents are telling buyers to wait…but wait for what? Wait how long? Wait for who?  It’s irresponsible to make such casual comments.

    Well, I’m seeing a lot of the OPT’s and/or the “sure I’ll sell if you are dumb enough to pay me X” listings that are starting to expire and not be relisted; they’ll wait for the next year and re-list for X +10%. So the ‘real’ inventory number will reveal itself by next month. Won’t be pretty, but buyers will resign to another year in their situation and quickly get wrapped up in school and then the holidays….
