Three months ago newly listed condos for sale would be lucky to get 2-3 showings their first week.
Today we got ten showing requests within 3 Hours of a unit going on the market.
It's unbelievable how quickly the market can change
Is the housing market resilient to rising rates? Context matters and each rising-rate era is different. Even if rising rates persist in 2021, the context is good for the housing market. https://blog.firstam.com/economics/why-the-housing-market-can-thrive-if-a-new-rising-rate-era-begins
I believe you meant to say the horses were upwind, providing their essence to this great house. Interesting competition with the same plan down the street at 6625 asking $1.795 since February, although it failed to sell the end of last year.
Jim, please get a quieter wind screen on your mic.
One thing about this Davidson creation, it still looks brand new despite being a decade old.
When we drove around the Del Mar Mesa area, we were surprised by the number of farming tracts and how they are just adjacent to some of the homes in there. It really give it more of a Poway feel to it, but at CV prices. Another drawback is the distance to Carmel Country Road on the small back country like Del Mar Mesa Rd. would be nice if there was an outlet to CV Rd.
Wonder how much it would cost to replace that large sliding door set with the accordion doors we now see in the new homes.
Del Mar Mesa will connect directly to Carmel Mountain Road soon and eventually to the 56 freeway with it’s own freeway offramp (which will come off Carmel Valley Road/56 intersection).

That’s very impressive.
I like the interior courtyard (not that pretty, just functional) and the look of the master bath (although as Jim says, it may be slippery).
A horse person might like having horses in view.
@4, thx for the info!
Polished marble in smaller field tiles is no more slippery than any other stone surface, because of the grouting.
Love the courtyard and love courtyards in general esp. coming with a single story house.
Me too, and only with the one-story plans. A two-story with a courtyard won’t see the sun much!
