The house could be zero sqft and it would still cost something in the millions. I’ll take Solana Beach over Manhattan (NY or MB, CA) any day. Whether the seller gets what he’s asking for remains to be seen, but it is a unique piece of land in a nice city.
What I’m more interested in are JTAR’s excursions into the vast depths of south county. Keep ’em coming.

My question is how the The Dildo Dr. needs a van? They’re not that big!

~$3600/sq.ft. ??? isn’t that some sort of record asking price? must be an amazing lot with lots of potential, but why bother renovating if it’s a tear down?

Funny how loud it was in the back yard of the ocean-front place. If it were the sound of the Detroit River, people would hate it, but since it’s the ocean, it’s all good. I wonder if you could tell the difference between the two by looking at the sine wave of the noise/ambiance.

No horns, smell of diesel and emergency services alarms are just three things that the seafront has over the Detroit river. Besides waking up and getting up with the sound of the breakers is a pleasure.
Could you ever tire of having your coffee and toast with that view?
@ Jim and wifey Jim, many many thanks for the t shirts, pens and card. It was a very pleasant surprise to receive the items. You are a true gent.
Hopefully the patio doesn’t end up a diving board like that complex in OB that lost their cliff.
But man, that view will never ever get old. Breathtaking.
Should be a comp killer for that 600 sf shack.
Didnt he try to and commit suicide?
642sq for 2 million? WOW! Is this Manhattan?
Just saw this in the LA Times: “Lawsuits Accuse Lenders of Sabotaging Mortgage Modifications”
