Many years ago, we purchased a home in Carlsbad, using a realtor that was recommended to us - Jim Klinge. Fast forward to 2025, we recently had the privilege of selling 2 homes in Carlsbad, CA and didn't hesitate to reach out to Jim and Donna Klinge of Klinge Realty Group to guide us through the sales. The transactions were very different, each with its own unique situation, opportunities and challenges. From start to finish, Donna and Jim helped navigate the pre-sale preparation, the listing, showing of the house, buyer negotiations, the final close and all of the paperwork and decisions in between. What stands out with both transactions is the professionalism of Jim and Donna (and their team), wonderful communication (timely, relevant, concise), their deep understanding of market dynamics (setting realistic expectations), their access to top-notch contractors, and last, their ability to guide us across the finish line successfully. We wouldn't hesitate to use Jim and Donna in the future and highly recommend them for anyone looking to buy or sell a property in North San Diego County.
What will $290k get me?
Upstairs…
That’ll get you a really nice replacement car!
E63?
So to buy at a trustee sale you have to have cashiers checks? It would be a bummer to liquidate a bunch of investments and then not get outbid or have the auction get cancelled.
Mac daddy? You better be getting one of these:

So a blown fuse was the final straw?
Lambo?

LOL! Maybe then Jim can have someone drive him around so people can stop worrying about him driving, filming, flipping through paperwork, and talking at the same time. đ
Considering how often Jim records everything while driving, how about the Google Car? đ

DNR – Trustee’s Sales are not supposed to be easy…that’s why deals are possible.
If they we’re giving money away everyone would be doing it. Wait, they are giving money away and everyone is doing it. Off to get my free cheese before it goes away in 10 years.
Any thoughts/knowledge/ideas on the banks’ criteria as to when to price a property to sell at the trustee sale verses when to price it so they know that they’re going to get it back and sell it themselves? At first blush one wonders why the banks just don’t sell them all themselves on the open market. They’ll always get more that way, even after paying the realtor’s fees, than they’ll get at the steps.
Hey Jim, The car that’s enroute, did you end up getting the gull-wing?
HopefulBuyer-$209k will get you anything from a dumpy studio condo to a three year old five bedroom house with 3,500 sq ft.
It just depends on where you are looking. When you buy a house, you aren’t actually buying a house. You are buying a bit of land in a certain location on the planet that happens to have a house on it. Where that location is matters much more than the size of the actual structure.
I hope it’s this:

Plenty of room in the back for signs and realtor stuff!
WOW – 556 horses!!!
I’m thinking a Prius….
HopefulBuyer, that was the range I was looking in last year. In Carlsbad you can get an older 2bdrm condo in the La Costa area and that’s about it. If you want detached you’ll need to look in Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido. There you can get a decent 3bdrm foreclosure if you are patient and lucky.
I think Jim’s getting a 5 series bimmer maybe?
People are getting closer….there was definitely a clue in the video.
Ice cream truck?
Re: What will $290k get me?
What will $290k get me _in Oceanside (maybe near San Luis Rey)_?
Was Track 7 on the radio the hint? Are you getting one of these?

Nice!
Track 7 = 7 series BMW
Haha! I was wondering why JtR kept that video clip with the “Hello there!” and the pan to the radio.
