We have known Jim & Donna Klinge for over a dozen years, having met them in Carlsbad where our children went to the same school. As long time North County residents, it was a no- brainer for us to have the Klinges be our eyes and ears for San Diego real estate in general and North County in particular. As my military career caused our family to move all over the country and overseas to Asia, Europe and the Pacific, we trusted Jim and Donna to help keep our house in Carlsbad rented with reliable and respectful tenants for over 10 years.
Naturally, when the time came to sell our beloved Carlsbad home to pursue a rural lifestyle in retirement out of California, we could think of no better team to represent us than Jim and Donna. They immediately went to work to update our house built in 2004 to current-day standards and trends â in 2 short months they transformed it into a literal modern-day masterpiece. We trusted their judgement implicitly and followed 100% of their recommended changes. When our house finally came on the market, there was a blizzard of serious interest, we had multiple offers by the third day and it sold in just 5 days after a frenzied bidding war for 20% above our asking price! The investment we made in upgrades recommended by Jim and Donna yielded a 4-fold return, in the process setting a new high water mark for a house sold in our community.
In our view, there are no better real estate professionals in all of San Diego than Jim and Donna Klinge. Buying or selling, you must run and beg Jim and Donna Klinge to represent you! Our family will never forget Jim, Donna, and their whole team at Compass â we are forever grateful to them.
I’m guessing you weren’t trying to convey a subliminal message with the parting shot of the lemon, were you?
The room off the garage feels like a space to invite friends over and play card games.
We’re all subliminal now….
Thanks for the tour, Jim. đ
No bubble here, thank goodness!
West of the 5 or no, that’s got to be one of the worst houses I’ve seen you tour, no offense intended to anyone interested in it.
Video tells fewer lies than photos. I think you’re onto something.
You mentioned people said to not show other people’s listings??? Since when did you start caring what other people think? Keep doing what you want. I like the tours. Tx
When a real estate agent serves you lemons, make lemonade! đ
Thank you SO much for pointing out that a slide show is NOT a video! So many people out there still don’t get it!
As for the house, granted it’s probably passed its prime, but you could make a killing selling off the furniture! There were some really nice pieces in there!
ditto! i want that white leather couch!
What happened to 1157 Hermes? It was on the market for $575k, now the listing is gone? The sign is still in front of the house.
1157 Hermes is marked as sale pending. That was quick.
Thanks for the tour Jim. Out of my price range, but it helps give me a better idea of whats out there.
I just watched two of your videos and had to chuckle after each one. That’s 20 minutes of my time…well spent. I do videos of my listings and my area as well, but I like your style. I think it will rub off on me a little.
BTW…I hate those cheesy virtual tours as well. Video is the future…what kind of camera are you using?
