Carlsbad Short-Term Rentals

While most of San Diego County is still grappling with their short-term rental policies, the City of Carlsbad does have a clearly defined area where they allow them:

    I generally go with 12 month lease and month to month thereafter. This morning my listing agent asked about a six month lease. I said fine but the rate needed to rise to cover the direct and unavoidable costs of releasing so soon. The little light bulb over their head almost burned out.
