Have you thought about moving to Boise?
Our friend Susie left coastal California for Boise years ago, and is about to put her house (seen here) on the market while her new house is being built – both are good-sized single level homes in the $400,000s.

Hmm. Nice, but too far inland for me. I’ve always lived right next to the Pacific or Atlantic. I need a giant water place to run to if things ever go haywire.
If the super volcano ever happens, all I’d need is my wetsuit, my American Express Card, and a straw. In Ohio, you’d just have to take it.
