It’s quite amazing what you get when you replace socialism (housing ownership as a right) with capitalism (mostly home buyers who have the money for a decent downpayment).
During the bubble, new homes were often inefficient, poorly constructed, hodge-podge sh*tshows, and the latest homes we’ve been seeing are mostly jobs done right.
Jobs done right is a good thing, imo. Hopefully, this will continue, Trump willing.
Today’s kids deserve to see how capitalism works, so it’s not just an abstraction to them.
