Well, if they have the down payment, another way to look at it is that million dollar houses are selling for about $4800 a month, taxes and insurance included! Glass half-full.
I have a friend who just had to let the full time nanny go to get a part-time nanny. Kids are heart-broken. She’s been with the family for years. The part-time nanny seems nice, but anyone with a nanny knows things can go south at any time.
I just share this to remind people that tears aren’t the exclusive property of the poor, or middle-class in this market. Rich folks have them too.
