When designing this home – a retreat for eventual retirement and visits from grown children – the architects were inspired by the clients mention of seeing butterflies in the meadow. You can see the result of this inspiration in the various roof lines of the home.
Beautiful job!!
Gorgeous! Love the setting and the city of Carmel. Com’on, JtR, what did it cost to build? Any clue? 🙂
No clue but the walls were formed concrete which you would think might save a buck or two but they might have paid more?
Carmel, I see a valley. Huh. Is that off Del Mar Heights Road or south of the 56? Pardee is really stepping up their game.
South of CV and to the right.
