Stunning beauty. Some actual craft and connection to the terroir, as opposed to a pop-out, stucco-sprayed cat box with granite and SS appliances. The Weir Brothers would approve!

Seems like it’s fairly easy to secure a building permit in northern new mexico. I wonder how sandstone works with significant earthquakes? Also, how’s the heavy rain and flooding management around those parts? Can water seep into the sandstone?
