   one of the greatest influences on modern music. Not too many people know that he produced The Specials. That one band alone kept ska music alive for decades. The Police have credited The Specials as one of their biggest influences.

   England is always looking to anoint a band as ‘The next Beatles’.

   The band, Squeeze, wore that mantle in the early ’80’s.

   Elvis produced, wrote and collaborated on a lot of Squeeze’s most popular stuff.
