Thank you for the weblink and the tours. I could sink my teeth into a science project something like this in the future, if everything else was in line. Unfortunately, I’m coming to the conclusion I’ll be priced out forever.
Chris Thornberg doubts the double dip. Where do they get these, a crystal ball??
Beacon projects flat home pricing statewide through 2011 then approximate gains in the California median selling price of roughly 3% in 2012; up 5% in 2013; up 7% in 2014 and increases of nearly 8% in 2015.
“…or you don’t drink much.” EXACTLY what I was thinking.

Reminds me of the house I grew up in. Those louvered windows seem great, but they break easily and are no fun to clean after a dirty, dusty Southern California summer.

Not keen on the lots (don’t like slopes), but the houses are awesome!
Gun show in Del Mar? When I heard that bang, I was thinking “ghost.” 😉
That house would be spooky at night.
Wish they had more houses like that up here. It’s just too far for us to commute from there.

Reminds me of Palm Springs….the things people with money designed in the 60s, 70’s 80’s and NEVER updated…
Mark my words….that ugly crap will come back in style eventually.
Flip This House 2025….”We are headed down to home depo to get a three sided mirror with built in ashtrays”
No kids OR “you didn’t drink much”……classic

Interesting house, where is it?
The first one is Mt Helix (La Mesa):

The second set of shots were from:

Down the street from SDSU and across the freeway from Qualcomm Stadium.
“What? You’ll get use to it.” Another JtR classic.
