A Dr. making a bad investment decision???? Never heard of that ever happening…

Guess we can add bad design decisions to the list as well

    haha!

I’ve seen plenty of docs ending up living straight middle class lives with nothing to show for by retirement simply because of poor financial decisions.

almost kinda like professional athletes, except doctors can work 30-40 years, while athletes get everything upfront and burn it all by 40.

Not sure if this matters to anyone in San Diego, because, of course, Sandicor is not an early adopter.

But it looks like they are going to make the tax rolls public?

Realtors Property Resource LLC — a subsidiary of the National Association of Realtors that’s building a parcel-based national property database — says it’s now partnered with more than 100 multiple listings services representing 265,000 Realtors.

Members of those “early adopter” MLSs will be able to integrate their active and sold listings data with RPR’s national property tax and other datasets, the company said in a blog post.

RPR is currently in beta testing in 13 markets, and version 1.0 of the RPR application is just days away, the company said.

RPR is competing for listings with several other firms, including CoreLogic and Realtor.com operator Move Inc.

CoreLogic, which unlike RPR and Move is offering to share revenue with MLSs, last month announced it had entered into licensing agreements with eight MLSs with a combined total of 82,000 members.

Is this different than the information that Redfin shows?

These strike me as poster children for 90’s-era excess. Who really needs 8br/8ba and 10,000 feet?

Would love to see the inside of it.

I get the feeling we’ll do better than that.

First to label the interior, “warehouse-like”.

Not sure what you mean about Redfin, but they have proven to be somewhat unreliable lately. I take my data off the tax rolls, they might be reflecting the normal fluffing by agents while it’s been listed over the last 18 months for $5 million.

Is someone going to pay $3-plus million for this? Probably, but if they look around, $3 million goes a lot further than it used to.

The US government is smart…while everyone thinks the Roswell aliens are in Area 51, we, the readers of JtR see where they are really located…in that garage. I wonder if Dr. George Jetson has conveyor belts in that house.

Launch pad doesn’t cover it. Retro air force base, maybe. On the inside: conference and retreat center. Or maybe that’s partly the furniture choices.

I have to say, that’s the first time an all stainless kitchen has completely matched a house’s interior design.

Was actually impressed with the interior. For what they were attempting to accomplish, they did an outstanding job.

Not for me or my style, but pretty cool for the right person.

And JTR is right…$3mm goes a LONG WAY today when it didn’t go too far merely 4 years ago.

If I was 30 and obscenely wealthy this would be a good place to park some of my harem.
