What a mess that is!
Can anyone tell me what is up with that HUGE lot on the corner of Ashbury & Vulcan? It would have been the next Nantucket, but the builder wisely decided not to build.
I hope they don’t build tiny homes on tiny lots. I live right in that area and while Nantucket doesn’t fit at all in the neighborhood….they’re nice homes and certainly add to property values. The homes that they proposed in this vacant lot are awful….super small and some multifamily units as well.
I say just divide it into 1/2 acre to acre plus lots and create “Leucadia Estates.” Just build big bombers instead of those small, cheap homes.
That whole area in the video is interesting. I remember touring the model homes during the peak of the market and everybody was super excited. The people at Magnolia Estates were beyond excited….they said I should get my parents in that week to pay for a $2 Million plus home. I think they believed their own words too. They’re good looking homes and everyone was just so gun-ho about it.
Looks like it turned out otherwise for Magnolia Estates and others in the Bressi area….
