Gibson, Ford, Brock, Seaver, Kaline, Morgan, Niekro, Lasorda, Sutton and now Hammerin Hank. We’ve lost some of the greatest to ever do it this year. @TommyLasorda is gonna have a hell of a roster to manage up there. #RIPLegends
Comments on December Existing Home Sales https://www.calculatedriskblog.com/2021/01/comments-on-december-existing-home-sales.html The delay in the buying season has pushed the seasonally adjusted number to very high levels. For example, this number of sales, (NSA) in July, would have given a 5.3 million, as opposed to 6.76 million SAAR.
Nice house.
Still a little high for the area, septic, lack of landscaping, finishing touches, and no appliances.
I agree with you 100% though, that garage will sell the house. If I was the seller (or bank agent) I’d throw a couple of $1500 car lifts in the garage to show what’s possible.
Wow! Nice. laughing at the Formica with a Wolf stove. Yep, must have run out of money.
Not sure I should show the video to my hubby. He might reconsider Vista if he saw that garage. We could fit a lot of dirtbikes and mountain bikes in that thing.
Maybe I’m crazy, but at that price it seems like it would go pretty fast?
Agreed, I think there will be several offers on this one, and may end up closer to $600,000.
Vistan’s in general love toys. I have never seen more motor homes, horse trailers, jet skis, boats, classic cars, motorcycles in a rural area everyone thinks is poor. People buy homes like this and spend 1/4 M$ on toys because they have room for them after a home purchase. There is money in them-thar hills!
The septic and propane don’t necessarily throw me, but you lost me at the entrance which was a design disaaster.
lol, you had me going on the formica in RSF, I was thinking “is he serious?” at the same time you said “just kidding”. perfect timing
looks like a steal to me, i’m guessing it gets bid up over $600K. let us know
I’d be interested in seeing that after today’s big storm.
The mosquito hatchery in the backyard would worry me less if it were on a sewer line.
Way too many large puddles. Incredibly bad drainage. That would be a constant worry for me.
That light you noticed, outside the garage… It’s probably a pump for the septic. It will flash and make noise if the tank gets too full and the pump doesn’t work.
cool house, room for tons of toys. I’d love to finish that puppy off. The missing glass on the master shower will set you back about 2k. It’s meant to have frameless, heavy glass.
I get the impression that the kitchen counters are “pre-owned” — possibly obtained as leftovers from a flipper rehabbing another property. They’re not pretty but, if you’re running out of money and need something, they’re functional.
But yes, the garage will be a draw to anyone with a lot of toys or a lot of tools (my first thought on seeing the inside was, “Workshop!”).
