When I was going to uc, I rented close to the lagoon by Del Mar. The problem with the lagoon thing is the mosquitos in the summer. Its better to have the view on the hill of the lagoon but not too close.

kingside, Would never consider working in the mortuary business.
I was listening to cnbc earlier today and they were talking about investors from other countries flocking to vegas to swoop up bargains.I guess they lost their @ss at the casino and now trying their hands in real estate again.Isnt strange how the avg joe seems to be the one that alawys loses during these downturns. They are not good investors for sure. They get sucked in from euphoria and end up guying high and making investors rich while the banks are left holding the bag.I get that feeling with gold right now.

If you’re going to be there past 8 I’ll try to stop by on my way home. I just got back from a holiday lunch at the PP in Cbad, I’m curious how similar the two locations are.
Won’t make it(freezing in NW Indiana) but have a great time just the same. Happy Holidays to all!!!

#14 – if you wonder who is buying that stuff, it is banks propping up other banks, with the help of mutual fund money… welcome to the new reality…. same as the old reality from last year…

Was just in SD Monday, and will be back there Sunday, but sadly not in between. Somebody buy Jim a beer for me; I’m good for it!

Drat, I’m stuck in San Jose where there is no JtR. (…but, we do have chick fights here too, and I agree that chick fights are great to watch.)
Aw, darn. I’m coming in on the 23rd, so it’s a miss. Hope you have a great turn out and a good time. Happy Holidays!
While traveling to NSD to escape the upcoming Montreal deep freeze sounds very appealing, I’ll have to pass on this one.
I’ll think about all of you while I live through our -15 degree weather up here.
(that’s -15 Celsius, or 5 Fahrenheit 🙂 )
More funny business in the banking industry. There are some real gullable investors out there right now.
