Maybe they’ve got a HDTV camera pointing out the porthole and a live image on all the plasmas? Or it’s a CIA secret site and the porthole is part of psyops?

That’s the third video in a year that requires a trip to Mike’s Marbleopolis. Nice.
They paid $475,000 for the 0.58-acre lot in May, 2006. The 3,300sf house was built in ’08.
Previous owner had paid $605,000 in 2005, and had a loan for $695,000 from Temecula Valley Bank, dated the same day.
Not sure how that got resolved, but it’s likely that the current owners have $1,000,000 invested in a vacant house that they hope to get $2,700/month some day.

All spaceships are designed like this. This one will travel through a worm hole 40 years into the future to become a brilliant investment.

Is that a one story or two story? Homes less than one mile from the beach and oceanview are renting for less albeit smaller square footage.

just a big plain square box with cut-out holes as windows. Must be one of those drugged up designers trying to think not from outside of a “box” but inside of a it.

Sortof looks like a mosque, or the builder came back from a trip to Spain and wanted a tiny Alhambra, damn the ocean view.

Looks easy enough to convert into a convenience store with plenty of parking too. Top half looks like it was made for neon signage.
I saw this house going up and sitting vacant for the last year. I ride my bike by it weekly. Its only a one story. Faux second story. Look into the windows from the back side it gets even weirder. I though it was going to be something like an Elks Club when it was framed…
Does this mean they get a pair of Padres tickets? Maybe you should tape a pair of tickets to the door. (That would be a fun video)
On the issue of lost pics, don’t record anything new onto the SD card, your pictures are still there, just the table-of-contents is deleted. There are many free tools available to recover deleted files.
At least it (sort of) makes sense if it’s only a one story. Still ugly.

Its a one story.. with very high ceilings. When JtR filmed the red carpet, you can see how high the ceiling is in the far room. They are probably 12 to 14 foot or better ceilings…

I’m thinking mosque now-red carpet and large windows, especially on the doors screams institutional.
Saw one of those 4 sides porthole window schemes at a mosque I drove by today.

Definitely not being marketed to Euro-Americans. That thing is truly atrocious.
Agree with the OP. It screams “Persian palace.”

As someone of middle eastern descent, it does look that way to me too! Waste of lumber…those poor trees : / (or was it mostly plastic involved?) Maybe the guy out in Victorville with the demo crew will pay a visit to it ; )

These are some of the funniest posts I’ve read yet. Maybe more funny ’cause we live by and also have watched this awful building go up. We thought it was going to be a commercial building of some kind.
So ugly it’s sad.

perfect for a cult like Heaven’s Gate. The red carpet won’t stain when there’s a mass suicide.
Thanks for noticing lgs!
Let’s make sure we note the specific landmark, for austerity sake.

Well rested? I chased around 60 sixth-graders for a week, I need a vacation!
I took 770 photos, downloaded them, and erased the disk. Today there were only five on my computer – bummer.
There’s a way to get those photos back… let me know if you need help with that.
Download Badcopy Pro – it’ll recover most of the deleted files from the memory card.
(it’ll cost you $40 bucks but it comes in handy all the time for me)
