Long time reader here:
If I lived anywhere near San Diego, there’s no question I’d use JtR. Moreover, if I am ever in the position of having a friend or acquaintance who lives in or wants to move to San Diego, JtR is who I would recommend, without question or hesitation.
And anyone who is in that situation and knows of JtR but does not use him (or at least give him a shot at the business) is a moron.
You only have to read this blog for a few months to understand he’s ethical, extraordinarily knowledgeable/skilled and will go the extra mile for his clients.
I have learned an extraordinary amount from this blog and would love a chance to give back to the source.
Thanks enplaned!
It’s tough trying to figure it out, because this is a commission-only gig that only pays when sales close.
What else can I do?
Make it a subscription site?
Offer a link to Amazon like Jay Mohr does, and get a piece of the pie?
Have tip jar?
I’d much rather give everything I got, and hope enough people appreciate it that when it’s time for them or their friends and family decide to move, they are adamant about using me because I’ve demonstrated the value I bring.
It bugs me when people learn here, and then go use another realtor who has done nothing to demonstrate their skills, if any.
if/when i finally get my own place in SD, you’re my guy jim
Moved to San Diego almost two years ago. Renting right now because it’s actually cheaper than buying the same type house in the same neighborhood. Saving up to get the 20% we’ll need to buy where we want to buy. Will contact Jim when ready! 🙂
