What a great article and surprised at how many I’ve visited. That said most of these are visiting towns not settling towns. Overwintering Lake Placid, Camden even Woodstock can be trying. And Block Island is a destination that would send most people stir crazy in a week. Montpelier is a wild place. Is parking on the street in front of the State House still free/allowed? St Augustine is bucket list for history buffs but understand it is more an enclave in Johns County which is Jacksonville adjacent.
And Ketchikan AK? Two seasons, winter and tourist. Beats out Sedona where the seasons are bitter, tourist and hunkered down air conditioned with a lot of overlap.
