That shower/tub ensemble offends my OCD sensibilities. Why not run the pan across the entire end and put the tub on the pan? Then you could get rid of the middle glass and turn the door into a half panel and slider with no cares for tub or shower splashing.
I used to live in that neighborhood. Nice place, very easy commute to Qualcomm or any of the other employers in the area. I would love to have the extra storage in the garage. Some of the houses around this one have 3-car side-by-side garages, and that means the whole front of the house is taken up by garage doors, which is kind of ugly. So I think this garage is better, in some ways.
The Miramar jets are not that bad. After living in this neighborhood, I bought a house that’s in the same flight path, but a little further away, so I knew what I was getting into. While they are loud, the are sporadic, and usually few and far between. Also, they don’t fly the same flight path every day.
