I drove past a Lake Geneva WI house Thursday that was twice that price.

My BiL has a house a couple doors down from the CA house. Same cliff, same views.

It should be noted the common misconception about the California Coast. 8 miles south of Santa Barbara is halfway to Santa Cruz Island in the middle of the channel.
