just the like the “Funk Zone” in Santa Barabara. It was an area blocks from the beach where artists and hipsters hung out. Then developers wanted in on the action so they kicked out the cool kids and built a bunch of storefronts for wineries and swanky hotels.
I don’t know which muni is the bigger sell out: Encinitas or Carlsbad….
