    It’s about scale. Here are the oversized in my kitchen:

    Smaller would be plain and busy. Larger would look forced.

    What is really fun is laying slate tiles as the tiles are all of different thicknesses. it sorts the skilled tilers from the amateurs. I can do about 3 square metres a day 🙂
