California is showing as a ‘balanced’ state, but with Oregon being the #1 inbound state, we can guess that many of their incoming people are from here.  If we’re ‘balanced’, then it must mean our inbounders are plentiful!

    I’m surprised Colorado isn’t listed as an inbound state. The population of almost every major city in the state is exploding. Also housing values are doubling and sometimes tripling in very specific areas.

    Comparing Denver to San Diego the housing market is probably 5x larger and 2x-3x the velocity. The one thing that’s allowing this to happen is that there’s a large amount of sub 500k properties available in relatively “nice” neighborhoods. This makes for a lot of move ups in the 750k range and above.
