The company that hosts this blog sent out this missive today:
Dear Client,
Regrettably, effective immediately MediaLayer, LLC shall be closing its doors permanently. This decision was not made lightly. After a full review of present circumstances this was the only viable option.
Current clients are urged to take immediate action by backing up necessary data and begin executing a transition plan.
All MediaLayer vendors and business partners have been notified via e-mail or other correspondence. Thank you for your patronage over the years. It has been a pleasure serving you.
I’ll get a new host ASAP!
Gurpreet Virdi, CEO & Founder of Medialayer
I’m deeply saddened to inform the web hosting talk community that we lost a dear friend and respected industry leader last week. Gurpreet Virdi, founder and CEO of Medialayer, LLC passed away unexpectedly in his New York City home on Thursday morning, June 25th, 2015.
Gurpreet, a young aspiring entrepreneur intrigued by innovation and technology, founded Medialayer in 2005. His ability to foresee the industry shift and emerging market geared towards “optimized specialty” solutions in 2008, led to the success Medialayer endures today.
As we grieve, let us celebrate his life. We’ll miss you buddy.

May he rest in peace.

Huh…well I would recommend you do not use the same company that is your registar (company you bought your domain though because if you forget to pay your host then they may lock up your domain).
I have been using Verve Hosting for 9 years and have been very happy with them; my father uses it for his business as well. Good customer service and good prices.
I don’t work for Verve or am getting any kick back.
bubbleinfo.com ain’t working.
http://www.bubbleinfo.com works ok.
