This blog is plumbing new depths… 😉
p.s.: Pretty cool, really.
what does it cost to have the line inspected? seems like a great tool.
Mechanicals are the most neglected part of buying. Test the plugs for ground. Fill the tub and drain. Get in the attic with the lights out on a sunny day.
On another matter. After he stopped laughing Tom S of his new tshirt said “I am soooo wearing that to the next broker meeting.”
It probably should be check where the sewer line runs, while in many cases it might be the street, an alternative is often the rear lot line. One can at least sometimes check this by looking for the whole house sewer clean out, which should be just outside the house. Another way is to see where the easements may lie, and to whom they are granted.
