I recall similar sized homes lower down on Wild Canyon drive going for the $7-800k range back in 2007.
Did you see any activities on the old “Symphony” and “Masterpiece” tracts just adjacent to the Ryland models? Last I checked the entire tract from the guard house was chain linked in. From zillow looks like the whole tract including these huge beautiful oceanview models were all foreclosed. somebody is still paying the $22k property tax yearly it looks like.

Yes, the old monster mcmansions at the top of the hill! I haven’t heard anything, and from looking up there I didn’t see any new action.
Mello-Roos is a feature at this tract – only $50 per month. Ryland bought out the rest.
Tax rate is under $1.2%.
