Definitely could make that work. High ceilings, lots of light, plenty of space, very open plan, and mostly cosmetic fixes.
Now, where did I leave that 2 mil…
Awesome house. I wouldn’t touch a thing. I’m so tired of all the granite, this old spanish style is a breath of fresh air.
Agree, Jakob. Hope you buy it Jim.
Nice bones although I would have thought the usable pad would have been bigger given that it is on 3 acres.
How much do you think it would cost to remodel the whole place top to bottom to covenant standards?
Hope you buy it Jim.
Love to attend THAT housewarming party!
Jim,
Check out Tom’s latest post. Give you any ideas?
Very nice house
Very nice. I’ve done 5k+ sf one story on acreage and it is very nice living indeed. Hard to beat.
I LOVE it! TJ I’ll help you find your $2MM if you help me find mine. 🙂
“international consultants”….Baahaahaahaa.
That’s a new code word for SoCal.
by the way…
Love. The. House.
Maybe I bought too early?
Chuck
Best of British luck in buying it JTR! Holding thumbs.
Small world, we just shot it. http://www.ranchophotos.com/3214CerrosRedondos/flat.html
There’s a lot there that’s worth keeping. There was a previous JtR Spanish-style house with some very nice patterned tile–that house would be a good model to use when (gently!) renovating this one.
