Davidson Arista 2

With the large tracts of land mostly built out, and the smaller in-fill projects being the only feasible options closer to town, this looks like the future of San Diego homebuilding – catering to wealthy (and typically older) folks with features like smaller yards and first-floor master suites:

How do you open those 2 floor windows? I will hazard a guess and say that there is a builder option whereby an extra room is added above great room. This optional room would utilize those windows, then. Therefore, instead of having two SKUs for windows they only need one.

With the community driveway, you better hope you get along with the neighbors.

The houses are nice, but the small lots and close neighbors are deal-killers for me. If I spend nearly a mil I’d want a little more breathing room.

How popular are the first floor master suites? Is it only for the older folk?

I rather like the floor plan – very appealing.

There appear to be more and more homes with first floor masters. Not a majority by any means, but a popular trend.

The floorplans are nice. Personally I feel davidson has always had quality floorplans. Sure there will always be one or two certain segments do population would not like, but overall they do a good job.

I would actually take issue with some of the Shea and Pardee floorplans I’ve seen over the years.

Readjusting to these as vacation homes, yup, these sure would be a nice getaway from crammed quarters of upper management based out of LA.
