How comfortable and durable and expensive is all that?

This is nice. We were looking at a house that had 10×11 bedrooms and wondering what could we fit in such a small space.

I passed this on to Jim as it looked different than other Murphy style wall beds I’ve seen. I was surprised this company did not have an LA operation, since they are based in NY and have 4 international locales. There is another video on their website that ends with a little cube ottoman that converts into five stools for guest seating, which looked novel, but maybe IKEA has something similar…

Lawrance Furniture in Encinitas carries this line or similar. We looked into one last year and pricing started in the $10 000.00 range. Not cheap, but a very cool line of products.

California company makes something similar but in the $2-3K range: http://www.wallbedsnmore.com
Saw them at a home show in SJ. Made in USA.
These could easily work in a typical tract home that has that smaller, funky 4th bedroom-office-loft area.
Very clever. The biggest selling point is the ease of operation. Being able to open and close with one hand is awesome.
