We have known Jim & Donna Klinge for over a dozen years, having met them in Carlsbad where our children went to the same school. As long time North County residents, it was a no- brainer for us to have the Klinges be our eyes and ears for San Diego real estate in general and North County in particular. As my military career caused our family to move all over the country and overseas to Asia, Europe and the Pacific, we trusted Jim and Donna to help keep our house in Carlsbad rented with reliable and respectful tenants for over 10 years.
Naturally, when the time came to sell our beloved Carlsbad home to pursue a rural lifestyle in retirement out of California, we could think of no better team to represent us than Jim and Donna. They immediately went to work to update our house built in 2004 to current-day standards and trends — in 2 short months they transformed it into a literal modern-day masterpiece. We trusted their judgement implicitly and followed 100% of their recommended changes. When our house finally came on the market, there was a blizzard of serious interest, we had multiple offers by the third day and it sold in just 5 days after a frenzied bidding war for 20% above our asking price! The investment we made in upgrades recommended by Jim and Donna yielded a 4-fold return, in the process setting a new high water mark for a house sold in our community.
In our view, there are no better real estate professionals in all of San Diego than Jim and Donna Klinge. Buying or selling, you must run and beg Jim and Donna Klinge to represent you! Our family will never forget Jim, Donna, and their whole team at Compass — we are forever grateful to them.
I don’t even know where to start.
The first word that came to mind was: Pathetic.
Jim, do you ever sit like that while you’re at an open house waiting for potential buyers?
Is it just me….or do I sense that he has money problems? I have watched his show on a couple of occasions and it’s not about houses, it’s about drama with his various “helpers” and drama in his life. I don’t know how someone could go on TV and do the things he does on camera and still have an ounce of integrity and shame.
I love the “only one (1!!!) autographed item per guest. No pics allowed.
Who is he? Brad Pitt? A-list celebrities are probably nicer than that.
Unbelievable.
I’m gutted. It’s like I lost a fiver.
Better than paying thousands of dollars at Armando Montelago’s buy real estate class seminars. How does Armando schedule his seminars in different cities on the same hour of the same day? Jeff Lewis is at least known for his strange ways and not using Bravo to rip people off.
HAHA too funny. My wife loves this guy.
We all know Jim is going!
No way am I going – it says no pictures!

Did you learn your lesson w/ your picture w/ Lawrence Yun of NAR? That may haunt you forever, Jim…
PS I cracked up w/ Jeff Lewis’ policy of limit of 300 autographs and place in line doesn’t guarantee an autograph…
The guy makes his house keeper wear a uniform. If Zoila is there, I’m getting an autograph.
We like Jeff Lewis, were kinda bummed though when the show went from actual spec projects to more drama. I’m not going though if i cant take a pic with him.
Who is Jeff Lewis?
I’m coming back to visit just so I can follow him around snapping pictures.
If more than 3 people show up, I’m resigning from the human race!
This is marketing 101…create a false sense of urgency.
If the disclaimer wasn’t there, I doubt even 100 people show up the whole day.
With the disclaimer, maybe 110 people show up.
Did anybody go?
