Gibson, Ford, Brock, Seaver, Kaline, Morgan, Niekro, Lasorda, Sutton and now Hammerin Hank. We’ve lost some of the greatest to ever do it this year. @TommyLasorda is gonna have a hell of a roster to manage up there. #RIPLegends
The whole house looks very nicely upgraded. I loved that they continued the finished stonework out on the terrace–really makes it! But I was a little thrown off on the “letting the concrete dry out” bit after pulling up the carpet…so there’s a water problem? Or that’s normal procedure for hard flooring after carpet removal? And why would they leave those white ovens in that otherwise lovely, rich, dark kitchen? (I did catch the white dishwasher the second time I watched the video, but at least it is mostly panelled.) But this house definitely looks like “location, location, location!”
Looks like a nice house.
I wonder how much of a nuisance that railway is?
If there are frequent trains there, given the closeness to the house , it might be quite annoying living there.
Anyone knows how often is used that railway?
thanks
I live about a 1/4 mile from this house and barely notice the train. If anything, it provides a nice ambiance. There is a cliff in front of the tracks that helps mask the sound.
There is nothing annoying about living in that location other than the cost of doing so.
I lived a block away. the trains tracks are sandwiched between 2 bluffs and there is very little noise that escapes up. The train noise is much louder in the beach colony location, where you also get about a 30-40% price premium…
