    Those little ducted fan engines on his pack are made for RC planes. I think he had these custom made for him though.

    Those aren’t ducted fans, they’re true turbines. They’ve been making those for RC planes for quite a while now, and they’re not cheap. You can see quite a few of them on YouTube these days — impressive as hell.
