San Diego was the last stop before going to TJ driving from LA in the 60s.
Sleepy town back then, Enron by the Sea now.
Still a great place to live.
Del Coronado looks magnificent. My wife’s parents spent their honeymoon their back in the late 50’s got to ask her if she has any pictures.
Wonder when the best time was to live in SD (relative to other locations). 1920s? 1950s?
Someday people will look at our pics and pine for the good old days where highways were single level and 1/4 acre was huge!
