Ocean-Sounding?

This freeway-close location reminds me of the REO on Skyros in Leucadia, which is about the same distance to the Detroit river, and the same price – and Skyros is pending:

    It is just criminal to build houses that close to freeways. So much bad planning.

    What’s criminal is the list price. Over a Mil. to be that close to I-5?! Skyros may have been as close, but at least there the view was looking down onto the freeway. Additionally, the Skyros property was larger and much newer.

    Apparently, builders think that being close to the freeway isn’t an issue. Check out K. Hovnanian’s new development going in adjacent to the off-ramp at Poinsettia in Carlsbad.

    I wouldn’t want to be sucking all the fumes and tire dust! Just too dang close to the road even IF there were “mar” in the view. Watch the DOM tick by on this one….

    Other than the fact that the Detroit River flows by the backyard, the interiors of the Skyros house is absolutely gorgeous to which this one is no comparison.

    Ease up folks, happy hour’s almost here. It’s a wonderful thing about our world that buyers get to decide what they’ll pay, but sellers decide what they’ll accept.
    fwiw, I don’t live far from that bend in the river, I love it here, & I think sellers should all ask MORE. :>))

    Your point is loud and clear in this video as in all others. I just pointed out how nice the Leucadia house was on the inside while this one is meh. But to some people zip code is all important and I won’t be surprised some just may go for it. Cheers
