Jim,
Thanks for another year of your great Blog. I never miss a day. Best wishes to you and your readers for 2011.
Bill
I think first time buyers looking in entry level housing will be lucky in 2011 – especially if they are willing to pick up a fixer and put in some sweat equity.
Cash buyers will continue to be the luckiest of all.
Jim, Happy New Year .
I am not sure if you know about this old news

China is printing plenty of money too.
If China crash, it will not be a pretty 2011.
I think this agency and various community redevelopment agencies will screw up the lower tiered market. But I could be wrong. http://www.calhfa.ca.gov/about/information/sr-staff-profiles.htm
What was that lake?
BTW, there’s a dog beach immediately west of that Coronado airstrip.
The lake looked high altitude like somewhere near big bear to me.
Sooner or later the government will have to realize the failure of this extend and pretend campaign and stop propping up the market. Only then will we get an idea of where the true bottom really is.
I’m guessing Lake Cuyamaca?
“If China crash, it will not be a pretty 2011.”
Or China demands full payment on all debts owed to them. How much of the US debt does China own at this time?
