Did any sell for less than you expected? Me neither….
My middle class market (92126) did really poorly in October so far. Late reporters will hopefully help, but as of now. YoY 57 last year vs 44 this year, Median Price per SF $254 last year vs $224 this year. MoM 49 last month vs 44 this month (might be even all said and done), Median Price Per SF $260 last month vs $224 this month. Looks like this month median price/sf was unusually low but looks like NCC experienced a similar drop in price. I’m thinking it rebounds but I suppose a bear could argue this is the start of another wave down. It’s close to 10% MoM price drop on a per sqft basis.
How did things go in the areas that got slammed in the first wave of the bubble burst (Oceanside, Vista, Escondido, San Marcos)?
Thanks Jim. These take time and are really helpful.
The house in CV on Arroyo Sorrento for $865k (on 1.15 acre of land) was sure tempting….
It looks like the sale price per s.f. is dropping like a rock.
