Every year the City of Carlsbad sponsors the TGIF Jazz in the Parks Concert Series. Tonight they are featuring Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, one of the best blues bands around. The show starts at 6pm at Poinsettia Park, just east of the I-5 freeway between Poinsettia and Palomar Airport Rd. exits, and it’s free! They don’t mind if you bring a jug, or bottle of wine either.
